Working

  • Heat Input: A heat source heats a refrigerant-absorbent solution in the generator.
  • Refrigerant Vaporization: The heat causes the refrigerant to vaporize and separate from the absorbent.
  • Condensation: The pure refrigerant vapor then flows to a condenser, where it releases heat and turns back into liquid.
  • Evaporation: This liquid refrigerant then enters the evaporator at a low pressure.
  • Absorption: The refrigerant vapor is then drawn into the absorber, where it is absorbed by the concentrated absorbent solution.
